At Tia’s Maths Tutoring, we believe supporting young people goes far beyond the classroom. Our approach is about getting to know the whole person — building confidence, encouraging their interests and helping them see what’s possible for their future.

What does our youth mentoring look like?

More than maths

Tia’s support goes beyond the classroom. By getting to know each student, she learns about their interests, ambitions and challenges — giving them a supportive space to talk, build confidence and feel understood.

Tia encourages young people to explore what excites them, whether that’s sport, creativity, business or something completely different. Through her wider Manchester network, she can also connect students with relevant experiences and opportunities where appropriate.

Tia believes every young person should feel able to build a future around their own strengths and ambitions. Whether their path is academic, creative, entrepreneurial or something else entirely, the goal is to help them develop the confidence and self-belief to make their own choices and pursue what matters to them.

We’re open to working with schools, charities, community organisations and local partners to help more young people access support, positive experiences and new opportunities.
